FAQs
What does your flat-rate pricing for drain opening in Ten Mile actually cover?
Our flat rate is an upfront, all-inclusive price to diagnose the clog and mechanically clear one accessible residential drain line. It includes the trip to your Ten Mile property, the use of professional augers or drain machines, and up to one hour of labor. You pay the quoted amount—no hidden fees for mileage, equipment, or basic materials.
Are there any situations where additional charges could be added to the flat rate?
We try hard to keep every job within the quoted flat rate, but extra charges may apply if: 1) the drain line requires roof access or removal of plumbing fixtures, 2) we find broken or collapsed piping that must be repaired or replaced, 3) specialized equipment such as a hydro-jet or camera inspection is requested, or 4) the clog is in a line over 100 ft long. If any of these issues arise, we’ll explain the options and pricing before proceeding.
How quickly can you arrive at my Ten Mile home or business?
For customers in Ten Mile we offer same-day service on calls placed before noon and next-day service for afternoon requests. Emergency after-hours dispatch is also available 24/7 for an additional fixed emergency fee. Our customer service team will give you a two-hour arrival window and the technician will call when en route so you’re not left waiting.
What kinds of drains can you open under the flat-rate plan?
The flat rate applies to most common interior and exterior drains, including kitchen sinks, bathroom sinks, tubs, showers, washing-machine standpipes, floor drains, and main sewer cleanouts up to 4 inches in diameter. Grease traps, storm drains, and commercial grease lines typically require hydro-jetting and are quoted separately.
Will you guarantee that the drain stays clear after the service?
Yes. We provide a 30-day clog-free guarantee on residential secondary drains (sinks, tubs, showers) and a 14-day guarantee on main sewer lines, assuming normal use. If the same line backs up during the guarantee period, we’ll return once at no charge to reopen it. Damage caused by broken pipes, foreign objects, or root intrusion is not covered by the guarantee.
How should I prepare for the technician’s visit?
Please clear the area around the affected fixture or cleanout so the technician has at least 3 ft of working space. Remove personal items from under sinks and, if possible, avoid running water or chemical drain cleaners before we arrive. Make sure an adult (18+) is present to authorize the work and payment. If you have pets, we appreciate it if they’re secured for their safety and ours.
