What exactly does your Iron-Clad Warranty cover for a tank water heater in Sunbright?
Our Iron-Clad Warranty provides full parts-and-labor protection against manufacturing defects, tank leaks, burner or element failure, and thermostat/control malfunctions for the entire warranty term. If any covered component fails under normal residential use, we will supply the replacement parts and perform all necessary labor at no additional cost. The warranty also includes one free replacement of the temperature-pressure relief valve and any code-required venting adapters installed by us.
How long is the warranty period, and are there any exclusions I should know about?
Every standard-efficiency tank water heater we install in Sunbright carries a 6-year comprehensive warranty, and our high-efficiency or commercial-grade models come with 10-year coverage. Exclusions are limited to damage caused by abuse, improper alterations, acts of nature (flood, fire, lightning, etc.), or failure to maintain the heater according to the owner’s manual. What routine maintenance is required to keep my warranty valid?
To maintain coverage you must: 1) drain and flush the tank at least once a year to remove sediment, 2) test the temperature-pressure relief valve yearly, 3) keep the area around the heater clear of debris, and 4) have us replace the anode rod every 3–5 years or sooner if water conditions are harsh. We offer affordable annual service plans that meet all of these requirements and provide documentation for your records.
How do I request warranty service if something goes wrong with my tank water heater?

Can the Iron-Clad Warranty be transferred to a new homeowner if I sell my property?
Yes. The remaining balance of your warranty transfers automatically at no cost, adding value to your home sale. The new owner only needs to contact us within 30 days of closing with proof of purchase to update the name and phone number on the account. All other terms and coverage remain exactly the same.
