FAQs
Which plumbing fixtures can you replace the very same day in Farragut?
Our licensed plumbers can swap out most common residential and light–commercial fixtures in a single visit, including toilets, faucets, showerheads, tub valves, garbage disposals, utility sinks, ice-maker lines, and standard water heaters. As long as the fixture is readily available in our stocked service vans or at a local supplier, we can remove the old unit, make any code-compliant adjustments, and install the new one before we leave your property.
What do I need to do to schedule a same-day replacement appointment?
Call or book online before 12:00 p.m. Monday–Saturday and let our dispatcher know the type, brand, and approximate age of the fixture you want replaced. Texting us a photo helps us verify the connection type and bring the correct parts. We’ll give you a two-hour arrival window, confirm pricing options, and dispatch a technician with everything needed to complete the job that day.
Can I provide my own fixture, or do I have to buy one through you?
Either option works. Many customers choose from our on-hand inventory of Delta, Kohler, Moen, Insinkerator, and Rheem products because they come with our extended parts warranty. If you already purchased a fixture, we’re happy to install it once we verify it meets Tennessee plumbing code. Please keep the manufacturer’s installation guide and any included gaskets or mounting hardware with the box for our technician.
How long does a typical fixture replacement take, and will my water be off the entire time?
Most faucet or toilet swaps take 60–90 minutes; a standard electric water heater takes about three hours, including fill and testing time. Your water is only shut off at the fixture’s supply valves (or at the main for water-heater work) during the removal and installation phase—generally 15–45 minutes—so household disruption is minimal.
Do you handle permits and code inspections for replacements?
For fixture-for-fixture swaps inside existing bathrooms or kitchens, Farragut does not usually require a permit. When permits are needed—such as for relocating supply lines, upgrading to a larger water heater, or installing backflow prevention devices—we obtain the permit, coordinate the inspection, and provide you with all documentation at no additional charge beyond the permit fee.
How is pricing determined and what warranties do you offer on same-day replacements?
We use upfront, flat-rate pricing based on fixture type, complexity, and any required material upgrades. You’ll receive the exact cost in writing before work begins, so there are no surprises. All labor is backed by a one-year workmanship warranty. Fixtures purchased through us carry the manufacturer’s warranty plus our additional two-year parts coverage; customer-supplied fixtures include manufacturer coverage only, but our labor warranty still applies.
